Once a year, we celebrate God’s creation and love for all living things.
In 2024, we invited St. Francis Service Dogs as a local outreach to recognize their work in the community and support their mission.
We look forward to our next Blessing of the Animals : October 2025!

Blessing of the Animals
On the sixth day God created animals, then man;
Blessed them and declared them good.
Man named and cared for the animals,
Had authority over all,
Big and small,
Short and tall.
His first companions,
Companions still.
As we experience the blessing that pets are,
As we savor their unconditional love;
Let us remember, delight in and praise God,
For His unconditional love for us.
